Job description:
As a Print finisher the candidate is expected to perform finishing activity after getting printing sheets or raw printed mug, banner etc. It is expected that the candidate will do the final task.
Entry requirements of this job:
The candidate is expected a degree or equivalent qualification however there is no minimum academic requirement. Significant relevant experience will be preferred.
Tasks required by this job include:
- To perform assigned finishing activity after getting raw printing sheets.
- To produce a completed product to include setting up, drilling, stitching, shrink wrapping, taping, cutting, collating, inserting, gluing, etc. according to the instruction of the work order.
- To work in line with the instruction of the print manager.
- To Ensure accuracy of work being performed to produce the highest quality product.
- To maintain a clean and safe work environment around their equipment.
- To fold, collate and sew printed sheets by hand or machine;
- To cut board and cloth for book cover and spine;
- To embosses lettering or decoration on cover by hand or machine;
- To set up and supervises automatic binding and finishing machine
